Jon grew up in the north of Spain and started surfing at an early age. He bought the van 6 years Jon grew up in the north of Spain and started surfing at an early age. He bought the van six years ago to spend whole weekends at his favourite surf spots. He lives near Bilbao, where he works as a surf instructor during the summer. The trip to the Canary Islands is his first long trip with the van.

When he was ten years old, he came to Tenerife with his parents for a holiday. He saw all the surfers in Las Americas. It was clear to him that this was the perfect spot to spend the winter in a van and surf. Now he has fulfilled this dream.

Jon doesn’t have a precise plan how to continue his journey. He lives from one day to the next, constantly looking for the perfect wave.
