National Geographic – Skyseed
My portrait of Skyseed co-founder Ole Seidenberg was published in the March 2024 issue of National Geographic Germany. The Berlin start-up Skyseed uses drones to reforest forests. It’s a race against time that Skyseed wants to tackle with a large fleet of drones: “We can only make a relevant contribution if the whole thing is realised on such a large scale that we can also keep pace with climate change,” says Ole Seidenberg, co-founder of Skyseed. Skyseed therefore wants to be able to reforest up to 100,000 hectares per year in ten years’ time.
WE/FOUR
This spring, I photographed a photo series for the magazine Wir/Vier of the Technical University of Berlin. I had Geraldine Rauch, the president of the university, Zethu Matebeni, a South African professor of gender studies, and allotment gardeners from Berlin who were taking part in a citizen science project to collect weather data using measuring stations in their plots. The magazine was published in late summer in both German and English.
HWP Handwerkspartner Flensburg
HWP Handwerkspartner AG has been one of my clients for several years now. I regularly travel to branches in Germany to take company photos for communication purposes and to photograph the employees on site, e.g. for the location brochure. In addition to business photos and images of the branch and reference objects, this always includes a team photo of the entire workforce. This year it was the turn of the Flensburg site.

FRAGILE! – Stefan Rahmstorf for the EWS Energiewende Magazine – Cover & Cover Story
“We are not doing any serious climate protection yet.”
In March I met climate researcher Stefan Rahmstorf at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Research.
Thank you for the relaxed shoot.
